2013 Stalker Vibes

I wanted to start the year off with a list of people that are sure to entertain you. There are a lot of talented people out there that are just waiting to be discovered and I firmly believe that I have found them. (and also since I'm friends or schoolmates with these people hehe sorry for the bias). Anyways, the people that I've chosen are actually masters in their own craft (chos) and are very passionate in what they do. So here is my list of people who are “follow worthy” or even worthy enough to stalk when it comes to their respective arts.

The lead singer of Jaira the Gathering who always kicks ass most especially when it comes to the DLSZ Battle of the Bands. This girl composes her own songs and also does covers and uploads them in her soundcloud page. I just admire people who get to compose their own songs + play the piano. Teach me please huhuhu :-(

This guy is really amazing! I heard him sing back in high school during school events and it's something that girls fall in love with. He also performed in one of my friend's debut just recently and they also went head over heels. His covers are really something especially when he sings together with his two friends backing him up. There aren't much songs in his soundcloud and youtube account but they're still very worthy to listen to! Just someone to fangirl over. ~o.o~

Minor no more

I threw a small dinner/debut for myself last saturday, September 1. I only decided to have that party less than two weeks from the big 18 so can you just imagine how much stress and fights I had to put up with especially with my mom. (hayayays, hi mommy.) Nevertheless, I'm grateful that it actually pushed through.

The place is called Veranda Lounge in Sucat and it was just a small bar-ish veranda which had a great view of the boat lights in Laguna Bay at night. It was outdoor so can you imagine my devastation when it started to pour really hard that night. I guess I wished for the wrong wish.

My wish was: "Please don't rain on my birthday"
What I should have wished for: "Please don't rain on my birthday PARTY"

It wasn't raining the day before and when the clock struck midnight, it stopped raining. HOW ANNOYING. Oh well, let's just say they were all blessings. :)

Well, I looked like a cupcake on that day, to be honest. Haha I'm not used to being the center of it all so it first was pretty weird and I really wasn't used to it.

Just a few shots from the small party. Thanks to everyone who came! Really appreciate it despite the rain. :)

Bianca is a baby forever

Bianca is my block mate and good friend from DLSU. When I first saw her in LPEP, I didn't think that she was already turning 18 because she has this fresh and youthful look on her face. Even if we're 9 girls in our block barkada, I could really say that we're all pretty close with each and every one.

Yesterday, we attended her debut in Megatent and I had a loss for words. We have actually been practicing for her cotillion for about 5 weeks (I only attended 2 practices hihi) and her parents have been so nice and supportive that they even made dresses and polos and even bought shoes for us. Talk about bongga! But still, the Soriano family has been so down to earth and very thankful for the blessings that they have. Good job to my cotillion partner, Enzo! We only practiced together twice... HAHAHA. Sorry for my fats.

I got to Megatent at around 10 in the morning for the general rehearsals and it was pretty amazing to see the sorta empty tent turn into something so magical in a few hours. After practice, we went to Richmonde hotel to get ready (again, thank you to the Soriano family for everything!). We got our hair and make up done and at around 7, we went back to the venue.

I was surprised when I found out that Sam yg was the host so I just really had to take a picture. HAHAH *fangirling*

After the cotillion, I dressed to my other gown and joined the rest of my blockmates. Can I just say that everybody looked amazing??

Love my girls forever. Missing you, Zombie!!

And the peg for that night was RED.

Hi Mark! Zobel-Block represent!!

ABS-CBN Teleserye daw. Hahaha sorry, we just really had to.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN BIANCA! IKAW NA TALAGA PINAKABONGGA! LOVE YOU BABYYY

Hi, guys. Meet my bodyguards / running mates next sem. CHOS.

Cheers to more fun times with you, Bianca! :)

Friday the 13th

I had to go back to DLSU last Friday since I was performing for this event. The pep rally was happening and at the same time also the alternative class that I needed to attend for my FITWELL class. Talk about hassle. Well, I went to Taft in the afternoon and I was an hour late for my rehearsal with Z-Ave. After that, I decided to watch the pep rally and I can say that some of the team's mini performances were totally hilarious! Especially the basketball team cause I couldn't stop laughing. HAHAHA.

Good luck to all the athletes competing in the Season 75 of the UAAP!!

After the Pep Rally, I had to take a pedicab to Village Square Harrison since that's where we were performing that night in Victory. We had to rehearse a little before the performance. It all happened so fast and I really had no idea why. Hahaha. Sorry for the pictures. The lighting was really bad so all the pictures are blurry and we had no good pictures nor a video during the performance. Btw, it was my first performance with Z-ave!!

Hihi if you guys didn't know, I joined Z-ave as my starting group. It's the perfect group since the practices aren't as stressful or as hectic as LSDC or Skittlez (but I wouldn't complain if I do get into those dance groups hihi). Z-ave started off as an exclusive group for students in DLSU who came from DLSZ but ever since Katz became leader, she ruled it out and anyone from DLSU or CSB is welcome to audition and join the group. :) So if you want us to perform in any gig, don't hesitate to contact us! Hihi, we have a Facebook page!!

It was raining really hard in Taft after the gig and I couldn't find a bus going back to Alabang so I was literally stranded! :( huhu but thank goodness for friends cause I found out that Chill Pill was in Beach at around 3 and they were still there at around 7 so I met up with them there and I couldn't be happier! So happy that I got to meet up with them and they were sorta complete. Hoping for more nights like those!

Btw, i didn't drink okay... Please refer to the cup of Starbucks that I'm holding.. -____- (hi mom and dad)

Since it was really flooded in Taft at that time, I went with Clai and stayed in her house til my parents got to pick me up near Don Bosco. Thanks for accommodating me, Clai!

Oh, and since it was really flooded in Taft, a part of the South bound road from Quirino to Vito Cruz caved in due to the heavy rains that happened that night. Unfortunately, my building (Andrew Building) is located beside the road where it happened. Huhu good luck to everybody going to school tomorrow. Hope it already got fixed. Stay safe everybody!!
