My good friend, Vikki Daet launched her online store Little Missguided a few days ago! *Yay!!*
Before she officially opened her store, she first had a mini-contest to promote it and she gave away these super cute shades! (I joined and didn't win... okay huhu.)
This is her with the shades that she gave away. Cute no? Sayang, I didn't get to promote it in my blog. Maybe next time hehe :-)
And these are the shades that I'm ~contemplating~ to buy hehe
Last night, my family and I witnessed the 2013 Condura Skyway Marathon and about 13,000 runners signed up to join. This is just one example of how endurance and training can help you beat your toughest opponent - yourself.
You don't have to be sporty to be able to beat yourself. You can beat yourself academically or musically. Thing is, you just have to out-do yourself.
I always turn to Tumblr for inspiring quotes just to get me in the mood to do stuff.
My #YouVsYourself story was during my first two terms in college. I'd always think that studies was a competition between my friends and me, when in fact it was just a competition between me and myself.
So, what’s your #YouVsYourself story? Tell us how you can exceed your limitations in your quest to achieve greatness, and ultimately, beat your toughest opponent: yourself.
Four (4) grand winners will also get a GoPro Camera, Running/Volleyball/Basketball/Triathlon Gear and Sports gadgets worth P10,000, a Safeguard Active gift pack, and P15,000 CASH!
So, CHALLENGE YOURSELF NOW, and join the #YouVsYourself Timeline Promo Challenge!
I started off my New Year's Resolution into buying a new novel! "The Fault In Our Stars" by John Green is about a 13 year old cancer patient named Hazel an how her post-cancer treatment/post-everythingelseinbetween filled love life with Augustus Waters is going. Her activities with Augustus re-examines how her cancer filled life is turning an unexpected turn.
I'm not really the reader-type that can read a book in a day or two but I really am enjoying this book despite the stress that college has given back to me this past two weeks.
I'm also pretty excited about my 2013 Starbucks planner! I'm not really good with drawing so I don't really expect my planner to be the really creative one compared to the other girls out there that draw and paste pictures on it - although I will try my best to be one of those girls. (NOT)
I never really liked drinking coffee back in high school. It gave me bad breath and I felt like an old person. When I got to college, I felt like it was my life saver! Whenever I'd stay up late writing papers and reading articles for class, I would just HAVE to make myself a cup of coffee. When I need a simple mood booster (especially on Mondays), I'd run to a Starbucks which is too expensive for my student budget.
